EricDeLee
Adventure vision..... First time I have heard of one. I was looking at the Vectrex website and noticed a Sears ad that had the Vectrex advertised in it. On the same page was this little wonder and apparently extremely hard to find game: Adveture Vision by Entex. http://www.adventurevision.com/ Take a look at Defender's screenshot: http://www.adventurevision.com/defenderscr...creenshots.html Pretty interesting considering how Entex made this (one line of 40 LED lights... and then a rotating mirror to make it seem like there was 6000 LED lights.) The MP3 sound files of it seem pretty good as well. I'm just curious as if anyone here has played one and if it is worth trying to hunt down one (Damn things aren't even on Ebay... lol)
Albert
Yes, those are very cool and pretty rare. It's too bad there are only four cartridges for it. ..Al
SS
MESS does Adventure vision emulation, if I'm not mistaken. The only chance that I ever had to play a real one was at PC2. Interesting, quirky little system.
EricDeLee
Guys, I've tried to get MESS to work for over 2 years now and completely get frustrated with it. lol I'd like to get it to work, but like I said I haven't had any luck. If I remember correctly, it also does the Vectrex stuff... and that was why I wanted to get it running. But no luck.

Susuwatari
Does anyone have a schematic of Adventurevision? LED are so cheap nowday one could probably reinvent Adventurevision without a mirror at all
EricDeLee
Not sure if this is what you are looking for: http://www.adventurevision.com/tech.html
Zaxxon
I think VB works by the same principle, a one line display in sync with a small, vibrating mirror.
SteveW
Nobody's tried to homebrew any games for the Adventurevision? I'd think that having only four games to play on it would stir people to try and program new games for it.
EricDeLee
Ignore the ignorant here.... but what is VB? (Probably very obvious.... but it still eludes me) BTW... Looks like Adventure Vision just sprung up on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW OUTRAGEOUS price. LOL
sku_u
Ignore the ignorant here.... but what is VB? (Probably very obvious.... but it still eludes me) Virtual Boy I've had a chance to play the Adventurevision, although I don't own one. The games are very difficult to see from what I remember.
