tdunn
I just can't remember the name, the game is like this: you are a helicopter flying through a side scrolling cave I think. Rockets and stuff like that shoot off the ground trying to hit you. You can move up down left right, and can shoot. I expect an answer from you guys in about 12 seconds
Joel D. Park
How about Chopper Command by Activision. Your not really in a cave though. Or is it Super Cobra. I haven't really played it much, but maybe it's more like what you have in mind.
utamav91
Super Cobra and Scramble were virtually the same game. It may have been one company's answer to compete with the other. As good as the Atari 2600 system was at side-scrollers, neither was ever translated very well to the 2600. Vanguard really showed us how those types of games could be done. There was a very good electronic tabletop version as well.
Tempest
Super Cobra was the sequel to Scramble. Both were done by Konami and licensed to Stern. Tempest

NE146
Scramble was never translated to any consoles or to the 2600 as far as I could tell.. although Tomy made a great handheld tabletop version of it. Come to think of it, that'd be a great 2600 hobbyist project.. SCRAMBLE

It was ported to the Vectrex.
Ze_ro
I always preferred Cosmic Avenger on the ColecoVision over either Scramble or Super Cobra... though I'm probably alone in this. --Zero
