hanglyman
I've never used MMC cards before, what is the right kind for CC2? does "secure digital card" = MMC ?? Just want to make sure I'm getting the right stuff Thanks!
Goochman
No, Most stores dont carry MMC cards anymore - youll prob have to go online. I got one of the last MMC cards from my local BetBuy 4 months ago. They look like SD cards but are called MMC cards.

Mayhem
True... SD != MMC. I almost made that mistake myself. MMC cards are a lot smaller than SD, but look similar, which is probably where the confusion comes in.
Susuwatari
MMC card is about as thick as a credit card with exposed contacts while SD is about twice as thick with recessed contacts. MMC slot can take MMC only card (including CC2. SD clot can take both SD and MMC cards and it's funny but many devices that uses SD card ignores the extra 2 contact normally used in the secure part. With the right socket, SD cards could probably be used in CC2 but don't hold me to that. It's a shame because I have like 6 256MB SD cards for my digital camera and PocketPC.
