kheffington
Just picked up a boxed elecrocop for Lynx. The box is larger than the rest. It is the size of 2600 game box. Are all of the electrocop boxes like this?
Gregory DG
Most of them are the smaller variety. I think a few of the early ones were big like yours.
Susuwatari
AFAIK these games were available in big boxes originally: Blue Lightening Chip Challenge Electrocop Gate of Zendorcon Gauntlet I think that's all. Maybe California Games but I don't think the came out in boxed version until later when Lynx II came out.
geosteve
Yeah, my early version of California Games packed with the Lynx 1 did not have any box. I have the large box for Electrocop, Gates of Zendecon, and Blue Lightning.
cryptik76
The large box versions all have the earlier ridged cartridge, correct? I know my big-box Gates of Zendocon was.
Susuwatari
Flat cart is more common than ridged cart and I do know flat was the first design Atari put out. They changed to ridged but that didn't stay for long as Atari went with the curved design shortly afterward to make removing cart from LynxII much easier. I just said "ridged" because it has those ridges on the top, though not the little extra ridges underneath. Oops!
