rolenta
Does anyone know how rare the PAL version of First Star's Boing! is? I ordered Boing!directly from First Star and they sent me the PAL version by mistake and I never bothered to change it. Now I need a NTSC version of the game! Jobf
From what I've seen over the past few years, PAL Boings seem to crop up quite a bit around London (perhaps where it was only widely distributed in this country). I remember a collector picked up six in one year a few years ago. It seems that most never had a label attached, though some are found with labels (early versions??). Its definately not as hard to come by as the NTSC version - perhaps on the same scale as PAL/NTSC Cakewalks. A sealed PAL Boing went on Ebay UK last year sometime for £70-80 IIRC (roughly $110-120) HTH Steve Rich Chester, UK.
Lee Furie
I don't have an answer to your question Leonard but I thought I'd make my first post here right now. BOING!?! ^_^ I want it! If it's not as rare in the UK then maybe I can find one (I'm in Islington)? Sounds like fun, and it looks sort of like Q*bert... is it as good as it looks and sounds? BOING! BOING! *hops away*
