EricDeLee
How much would you all throw down for a Turbo Grafx Express unit? I've seen a few of them on ebay... here's one in particular: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW I'm hoping to find one under $50... but I'm not sure what the going market is. It seems a little high right now. Thanks.... Eric DeLee
Vic George 2K3
Not sure I'd throw anything down for that, since it hardly has any games that I'd want to play.
Adrian M
Depends. Some online stores have NOS or near-new units that sell for about $199. I've seen them go for much less, but keep in mind that the screens are fragile and you'll often find some dead pixels. In fact, NEC used to consider a screen with 3-5 dead pixels suitable for sale, same applies to the NOS units you can buy. Also, sometimes issues would develop with the external speaker. Turbo Express systems are nice, but I wouldn't really buy one unless you already have a decent library of TG turbochip (or PCE HuCards). I'd be wary about buying a heavily used unit. To be safe, consider $100 a safe starting point...
EricDeLee
Maybe I'll just keep with the console unit and just spen my money evenly between the Neo GEO Pocket and the Atari Lynx.
MegaManFan
I got one CIB on eBay for $50 (thanks to a tip from McGrail0007 - I owe ya one buddy) but the sound doesn't work unless you use headphones. Small price to pay for such a great handheld!
Atarian75
i paid $100 shipped for mine, but it came with 14 games.
christianscott27
if its trade value around $75 is fair depending on condition. this is one of those items you'll rarely find in the wild, its actually is uncommon unlike say a toploader. its a great portable, of course if you dont like the games that may vary. i really like playing galaga 92 on mine, although it is one bastard of a battery hog. i watched the ebay market for nearly a year to get one and back then they were closer to $80-100. eventually i traded a nomad and some odds n ends for one.
