Today's garage sale run

Hit a lot of garage sales today and all I have to show is one lousy boxed Air Raid.

 

Now that I have your attention, I didn't have anything beside a boxed joystick called Video Controller. It still has an old Kmart price tag for $8.97 and the box advertises "Designed to be used with Atari® and VIC 20 brand systems"

 

I have had a loose joystick for a long time and there was no name or make anywhere and now I finally can put a name to this joystick. It has a very small base and in addition to the usual up/down/left/right movement, the stick can also twist for left/right movement.

 

The box is in fair shape (loose flaps, some wrinkles and creases along the folds)

 

Only one dollar for this. And that was the only pre-crash era related stuff I found today. I did find a few Genesis games ($4 each, ha-ha), several PC games (bought the Sims for $2 complete with manual and CD key) and several PS2 games (bought Final Fantasy X-2 for $5)

 

If there's one thing I learned about today's run... if there's a garage sale and there are kids playing aroiund that are under 10, chances are all the sale has are old baby clothes and baby toys. Never saw any used underwear so I have no idea if a pervert already snapped them all or if the parents choose to throw them in the trash.
