Level 5 on Desert Falcon

Made it on the "Novice" setting, but it's still incredibly difficult way up there. The screen is dark brownish.

My final score was just over 100,000, and I got two hiero combinations I'd never gotten before: hover, in which you can only move from side to side, and air freeze, which stops all the flying insects from moving until you fly past them. My bonus multiplier or whatever you want to call it reached 268, and I hadn't even picked up one gem.

This is my favorite non-arcade port for the 7800 so far. Others, such as Scrapyard Dog and Tower Toppler, I just can't get into. A copy of Midnight Mutants arrived in the mail last week, haven't figured it out yet, though...

Man, SYD, TT, and MM are all games you need to give a few chances on. SYD kinda bored me at first, but it really gets better each level you complete. Check out the manual on this site for Midnight Mutants. It'll get you rollin.

Tower Toppler is my favorite game on the system...BTW.

 

Surprisingly, many peeps don't dig on DF, but I think it is a really good game.

I love Desert Falcon, I'll go and add those combo types to the other post. I keep getting broken wings and stuff at L5. The multiplyer is based on enemys killed.
