Intellivision Entertainment Computer System

I am thinking about getting one of these for my Intellivision collection and would like to know more about it. Everything I can find about it says it works with Intellivision II. Basically what I'm asking is, will it work with my Sylvania system (I don't see why it wouldn't but you never know)? Also, what exactly can do with it?

It doesn't have a whole lot of memory, but you can program decent little games on it. There's a web site or two that have program listings that you can type in. And I use my ECS with an Inty II, so I don't know about the Sylvania. I know that the System Changer needed to be used on the Intellivision II, but i've never heard of the ECS not working on other Inty models.

 

Make sure that you track down a copy of Mind Strike when you get an ECS. It's a good board game along the lines of Stratego. It's my favorite Intellivision game by a wide margin.

Already have Mind Strike:) Found it at Goodwill a few years back for about $2

It should, same circuit board in a difforent wrapper.

I think that it should work. As far as I know, the System Changer needs an INTY II, but not the ECS.

 

If you do pick one up, grab World Series Major League Baseball. Quite an amazing title, especially at the time. I still find the updated Baseball more fun though.
