EricDeLee
Anyone have experience with these, and are they worth getting? I can pick up a cheap one and was curious
+-^CrossBow^-
They are basically an all in one Genesis. And most report that the 32x even works on it. However, you can't really use the 32x and the SEGA CD part easily. Define what cheap is..and what is wrong with it? Because as far as I know, they aren't the most reliable units ever and when they break there isn't a whole lot that can be done with them. Vintage in BA got one of these also? And here I thought the Highlander for the Jag CD I picked up from there 2 weeks ago at $9 was a good deal...hehe..
EricDeLee
Nope... this one is in the Muskogee area. I haven't tested it... so I don't know if it works really good or not. $25... I figured that was a good deal... but I'm not really sure since I haven't seen one before.
Lemmi
i paid $45 for a loose CDX with hookups and a controller and $150 for a new one $25 is great if it works
EricDeLee
I'll check it out. Hopefully I get a chance to do that today... but of course I have to wait until I get off from drill status. Then I'll go to Tulsa and make all of my usual stops and see if anything new is in the stores. (Hopefully I can swing by and pick me up a cheap Pitfall 2 cart). Stingray
$25 sounds like a deal to me. Last time I was in Vintage Stock on 41st they had one, but I think they were asking $45 for it. More than I wanted to spend one one. I probably would have picked it up if it were $25. -S
EricDeLee
Well... I missed out on that one. But.... they re-stocked and placed yet another one on the shelf (This is at the Game exchange on 71st and Memorial). They want 85 dollars for it. Oh well.... Scooterb23
I paid $100 for mine with a couple controllers, 5 Sega CD games, and Mortal Kombat for the Genesis... I thought it was a good deal, some of the games are fun, I haven't tried out too many. I don't go out game hunting much anymore, so my entire collection is stalled right now, need to relight the fire and see if I can score some more of the Sega CD games I want.
