birdie3
What the heck is this? Maybe there is a new retro console in the works. That would be cool, I guess.
Zaxxon
It's nothing. Just somebody who bought it (from Multimedia 1.0?) hoping to resell the name brand at a profit.
else
I'd say it's a bit more interesting than that. Multimedia 1.0 appeared to be just been squatting on the web address. These guys appear to have acquired the rights to Coleco and Colecovision. If they went through that much trouble, I would guess they're actively pursuing things.... -Derek
Zaxxon
That must be very new. When I just looked up that address a couple weeks ago none of that was there. I don't think people will get too excited at the chance to play Amazing Bumpman and Gust Buster. How about licensing some of the good games or just making a small, inexpensive CV clone with a cart port and a multicart like the Famicom clones. desiv
This thread has more discussion on it, but no concrete info yet... http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.p...ight=river+west That was discussion on coleco.com as opposed to colecovision.com, but it's the same people. Interesting, it's a slightly different page. Why not just have both link to the same page? :-) desiv
opcode
Interesting, it's a slightly different page. Why not just have both link to the same page? :-) desiv It was till a few days ago... Very interesting... So would the Bulldog be a 10 in 1 type of handheld or is RW cooking something more? Since Ken mentioned Pitfall III, I am wondering if they are planning to have it made using the original CV hardware or if they're going to create a completely new machine...
