tyranthraxus
So as far as I know the 2600, 5200 and Colecovision had them made. Any other systems or more modern consoles have track ball controllers?

Zaxxon
WICO released one for the O2 but it's very rare. There are pics of one on one of the O2 fan pages.

sku_u
playstation...kinda wish i'd grabbed one a few years back, might end up being semi-rare I had no idae one was released for the PS. Do you have any more info on it? What games was it compatable with?
Phosphor Dot Fossils
Anything that was a mouse game on PS1 was also a trakball game. Missile Command and Centipede on the Atari arcade collections...all sortsa good stuff. PS1 trakball + Dune 2000 = yummy.
Adrian M
Kaybee had plenty of those Trackballs for the PS at one point. Check around, they may very well still have them. Anyways, don't forget about the APPLE PIPPIN. The controllers had little trackballs built-in.
video game addict
I've been looking for one for PSX for a few years now. They show up on ebay fairly regularly, just haven't ever bid on one. I was hoping to pick one up locally. Good think with ebay they are usually boxed, new, or like new for you collectors It's called the NYKO Classic Trackball probably about an R7
figgler
I beleive there is also a trackball for CDi
Christophero Sly
Wico released a trackball for the TI-99/4A.
Xot
I picked up two of those "classic trackballs" for PSX when they were being clearanced for $10 at Kay Bee. THEY SUCK. The buttons are not very responsive (they have that "sticky" feeling like the 5200 trackballs), the whole thing is too damn light, so if you put it down on almost any surface it slides around as you play, and if you put any sort of pressure on the ball itself, the rollers underneath it crack. Found this out during Marble Madness. And for whatever reason, the mouse sensitivity controls in the Atari Collection 2 don't seem to affect it all that much. It doesn't give you a true, arcade-accurate speed-sensitivity function. In short - kind of neat as a novelty or collector's piece, but worthless for actual gaming. christianscott27
i've seen the CD-i track ball, boxed and cheap even at a local flea. the thing is that its designed as a kid's interactive remote thingy. i even own a CD-i and i could not bring myself to buy it, perhaps it works with some of the very few games i have...sigh the CD-i is such a dud. the cool thing about that playstation track ball is that it uses the same mold as the 5200 track ball. now lets see that genny track ball! christianscott27
almost forgot one... the little noticed, little used master system trackball it was made for a really crappy football game, dotn know if any other titles support it. something about the name "sports pad", well what does it make you think of
SS
now lets see that genny track ball! I don't think that there WAS one released exclusively for the Genesis. The SMS "Sports Pad Controller" works pretty good with some Genesis titles, however. You have to put it into CONTROL (ie - joypad) mode though. It is pretty fun with "Marble Madness". RangerG
The Atari Wico trackball box says they made different trackballs for the 1) TI-99 2) Apple II 3) TRS-80 CoCo and 4) Odyssey The Odyssey, Ti-99 and the CoCo have their own AC power supply (why?) and the Odyssey has plug-in controls (what are these?). Stingray
Colecovision had the Roller Controller. -S
jsoper
The Odyssey, Ti-99 and the CoCo have their own AC power supply (why?) Because there's no 5v supply pin at the controller connector. The intellivision and colecovision also have this problem
