Tempest
Here's a interesting question: What's the rarest game you've owned multiple copies of? You know, one of those games that took you forever to get a hold of, and suddenly you find two more at the local flea market. It's happened to me quite a bit through trades and pure luck. I'd have to say my rarest extra 2600 game is (was) Polaris. When I first got a hold of it off of ebay I was so excited since I had never seen it before, and then less than 3 months later I find one at the flea market and then got antoher one in a huge 2600 trade. Funny how things like that can happen. Tempest
Joel D. Park
I actually had 2 SQ: Waterworlds for a while. I made a good trade for my first then I spent some cash for one that I couldn't pass up.. So it wasn't really a great find of anykind.. But I did actually own two at once. Jess Ragan
It was two Chase the Chuckwagons for me, and I found both of 'em in a pretty short span of time (about two months). I wanted to take a picture of myself with both the games, but I never got around to it... and then I ended up sending the games to Sean Kelly. Le sigh. rolenta
The rarest game that I have more than one copy of Mr Do's Castle. I bought it when it originally came out and then picked up the second at a garage sale for $5 (which also included a 7800, and about ten other 2600/7800 carts including Spy Hunter. Tempest
You bought it when it came out? Man, you must have been disappointed! Actually the 5200 version isn't much better... Why could PB work wonders on the Colecovision and crap out on the Atari's? Tempest
atari70s
i had 3 Gashogs at one time . thats it
Tempest
PAL or NTSC? Three PAL Gas Hogs aren't that hard to find (not much demand). Actually the more I think about it, I've had two Pengo's, Track and Fields, and four Roc N Ropes (yikes!). I also have two 5200 Track and Field protos. jahfish
i had two x-man carts, after buying games from a pong collector. i offered 50$ for the first. he said it's a lot and that i could have the second one for just 25$. hehe, xman usually goes from 75$ to a 100$ at ebay. so it's like i got mine for free, and i had a good trade for the second one ... Heavy Sixer
Unfortunately, most of my notably rare games are unique in my collection (due to having obtained them in a stroke of blind luck, or having paid some $$$ for a single copy on eBay). I have two copies of Roc 'N Rope (dry carts, but one is in pristine condition), rated at 5 by the rarity guide. I also have a number of games which are 4s: Activision Checkers x2 Pitfall II x4 (three NTSC, one PAL) Fast Eddie x2 Buck Rogers x2 Kool-Aid Man x2 Lost Luggage x2 Millipede x2 Moon Sweeper x3 (one with box & manual) Donkey Kong Jr. x2 (one Atari, one Coleco) Summer Games x2 Winter Games x2 California Games x2 Nothing that will drop any jaws, but any cart I find that rates a 4 I consider a worthwhile find. Almost all of the above carts I find out in the wild. The hunt continues... HEAVY***6***er
