Trooper
I went to a fleamarket today hoping to find some shelves for our kid. Well I didn't find any of those so I went to the "electronics" part of the market and looked around a bit, didn't find anything that caught my eye. But then I saw something interesting, an old 5 1/4" diskdrive, I went over and looked closer at it and sure enough it was an Atari 1050 . Let me tell you that we don't see them often here in sweden!! Anyway I thought "well if there's a diskdrive there should be something to hook it up to as well". So I started looking, couldn't find anything at all, only a bunch of old PCs and Macs. I'd almost given up when my girlfriend came over, looked at me and said "let me hold the diskdrive so you can do some serious looking". I went through every little inch of the electronics building and finally, shoved behind the three boxes of old telephones that noone is interested in there it was......a nice shining (well almost ) Atari 800. I quickly snapped it up and looked it over, seems to be in nice condition apart from the fact that there's no power adapter. So I asked the guy how much he wanted for it, he looked at it and said "well an old keyboard like that......$1" needless to say I paid the man So what I got today: Atari 800 - $1 Atari 1050 - $1 Mac SE - $0.50 Mac Performa - $0.50 So I'm quite pleased. /Troop
King Atari
Very nice score! I've never found any Atari home computer stuff around here.
