Gateway
I've been curious about how many copies of QB are out there. I thought this would be a good way to get a rough idea. Here's the threads about it's discontinuation: http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=52656 http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=55575 Please post how many, and what editions you have( if applicable ). Also, if you know somebody who own the game on cart, but who doesn't post here very often, include what you know about it. Note: This thread is NOT my attempt to determine Qb's value on the market. I plan to keep my copy for a long time. I'm just curious about its circulation and numbers. Correct me if I'm wrong: With the possible exception of Edtris 2600, I believe Qb is the first 2600 homebrew that remains "out of print" after a wide distribution. ---------- I'll start. I got one of the last copies from the AA store: 1 Blue plastic cart + manual, publisher: AtariAge
MattyXB
I know these, when I not wrong: Qb (First Limited Release) = 50 Qb Special Edition (Second Limited Release) = 100 (+ maybe 100 first Boards, which has a bug in the game, some collectore has hold them too for there collection, but I think not all) Ob (sold in AA Store in the past unlimited) = ??? So there are 150 Limited Releases out and some from the AA Store. I own QB Special Edition #78 + the Bug Version from this run.
+-^CrossBow^-
I only have QB Special Edition #74. I also paid the extra money to keep the buggered first release PCB. In fact I have that one, and the fixed one in carts with complete labels thanks to AA. And nope...I don't plan to sell either one anytime soon... StanJr
Considering the small run and limited availability, I'd say Qb is already automatically 9 (8 at the very least) It should be able to fetch well over $100 on ebay at this point! Let's skip the middle man and begin the bidding at $2,000.00, shall we? I have QB SE with DE's absofalutely awsome label and the "glitchy" board as well - #69. Thomas Jentzsch
You better don't forget that Andrew can start making new carts at any time he wants too. And I would bet, that's part of his "masterplan".
