making a mame cab...

I was hoping to make a mame cab, one day I would like it to have trackballs possibly beside the joysticks (is there a way to wire the buttons to work with both the trackball, and the sticks?) I am guessing i will need a 4 player cab, is there any1 in here that can suggest a 4 player cab, I was thinking the size of a cab that the TMNT games were on, not that i would tear one up to get the cab, looking for a size idea

As far as conversions to mame.. it's more of what you can get your hands on rather than picking what you want to get.

Try to get your hand on a cheap arcade cab or even a stripped cab. It's heck a lot easier to modify an existing cab for MAME than to build a new cab from ground up.

At the last SuperAuctions there were dead cabinets at the end of the auction going for $10 and less. That's the perfect start for a MAME project!
