pjbrooksbank
yes, not just 'a' lynx but have atleast 6 that work. might even have a couple of non-working ones for spare bits. Not quite got all the games yet. I think its just the Prototype games left to get. and the gauntlet (ridge) i.e less than 10. cheers pete. dark willow
Here in UK and have a Lynx 2, actually it belonged to my g/f but she only ever used it a few times and forogt about it, found it (after a year!) at hte bottom of the wardrobe. and it's been ages since used it as only has a few games. Been thinking of getting a mains adapter for it though and some more game cards. Any good mystery/strategy games anyone can reccomend??? Blany
Dracula is pretty good on the adventure side of things.
wapchimp
yeah or gauntlet (kind of adventure game)
crc_73
For strategy, you could try Shanghai or Ishido, or of course Chess. If you want a little arcade mixed with strategy, Qix and Rampart are good examples.
dark willow
ah, Chess, always fun, still got Chessmaster 200 for the ST somewhere. Managed to beat it a few times so I like that I remeber Gauntlet from the 8-bit, it was great on that, what's the port to the Lynx like?
Blany
Gauntlet on the LYNX is actually very good although I hear there's to be a phone version soon.
crc_73
How do you find playing Gauntlet, with the vertical orientation? I have Klax, and when playing it, the brightness might be fine for one eye, but the brightness for the other eye is either brighter, or duller, depending on which eye the brightness is good for. Maybe my eyes are too far apart than the rest of you
