Here is the available A8 ROM version ported to the 5200 done as an exercise to help understand the work involved. Did you do that yourself? There needs to be some central spot where all the A8 conversions are listed and with the people credited who ported them. Maybe AtariMania would do. Then again, I could understand the "legal" concerns... I'm surprised #1 that there wasn't a version of Crazy Climber made for A8/5200, and one made to dual joysticks. Then again, nobody's hacked the 2600 version to support that. And outside of making one specifically for A8, I'm surprised the Apple II version wasn't just ported and spruced up a bit. Well the 2600 version was an Atari Club exclusive so maybe they wanted to keep those all 2600 only.
