H1HummerAlpha
Hi everyone, Been following these forums for a long time. Now is our 1st post :-) We were doing the 8bit composite S Video mod. We use the multi cart for our testing. DEAD nothing just a black screen. We pulled out our common games: Centipede, Galaxian and Centipede and they all tested PERFECTLY!! The multi-cart is just plain dead. It's been in storage for about half a year. Works perfect then. Any help is greatly appreciated to resolve this! Setting up our game room and the multi-cart is a necessity. Game on. William Fong & Sandy Lee

Sounds like one of the EPROM's has gone bad, is it the DIP switch version or the menu driven one?
H1HummerAlpha
Hi yes we are those people on eBay :-) Hi CPU WIZ. It's the menu driven version. We've finally caved in and am converting all of our old classic systems to composite audio S-video. What can we do to resolve this as we've been trying to touch base with Sean K for no avail :-( thanks
CPUWIZ
Hi yes we are those people on eBay :-) I thought so. Hi CPU WIZ. It's the menu driven version. We've finally caved in and am converting all of our old classic systems to composite audio S-video. What can we do to resolve this as we've been trying to touch base with Sean K for no avail :-( thanks Yep, Sean is a tough guy to get a hold of, you should have probably showed up in San Jose for CGE and he may have fixed it for you. I have cracked one of the menu driven carts open before, they aren't exactly easy to fix if you don't have the contents of the EPROM in the first place. H1HummerAlpha
Yes the CGE Expo was very close to home BUT no time. I guess we'll wish for the best and hope Sean will contact us soon as we just found out today of its demise.

Good luck. Or you could try to convince someone with a menu-driven cart to crack it open, de-solder the EPROM's and dump them. Then do the same to your's and re-program them and solder them back in. H1HummerAlpha
The multi-cart will be going into the capable hands of Curt Vendel. Thank you Curt. I want to publicly acknowledge this to everyone. End of topic.
