Ze_ro
So, I was looking through one of these comics when it occured to me: Why the hell did they never make an Atari game based on this??? It seems so logical, yet it never happened. Was Atari ever planning on doing this? --Zero

ATARIPITBULL
Hey Rhindle, who made this game, and when did it come out?. I looked around and can't find any info on this game.

Basically, it was created by Atari and released in 1982. I've personally never seen this game, so I'll have to fire it up in MAME to see what it's like. ..Al
mos6507
Liberator was made by GCC (the same company that did the 7800) as part of their "pennance" for cloning Atari's arcade games.
Ze_ro
I can't believe no one else noticed this, but if you read the Star Raiders manual, it turns out that it's their ship you're piloting. This isn't played up much in the game though. In fact, I had no idea of this until I found a boxed copy of Star Raiders and actually read the manual I'd guess that Solaris has something to do with them too, since it's kinda a sequel and all... --Zero
Inky
Liberator is an AWESOME sequel to missle command and, I think, is a million times better (and I LOVE Missle Command). I was lucky in that my local arcade had this game for about a year..
