Trebor
http://www.atariage.com/hack_page.html?Sys...twareHackID=146 In both the latest Stella and Z26, after completing the Cherry (1st) board, the game goes into an endless loop of flashing screen, frozen Monsters (Ghosts), the "special sound effect" of eating a blue ghosts (or fruit), and Pac-Man moving slightly between each sound effect. Any fix for this? Additionally, I'm curious if there is a version of Mr. Pac-Man minus the flashing screen and "special sound effect" when eating a blue ghost monster and fruit? Thanks, Trebor
Nukey Shay
It's always nice when hackers post their source I'm guessing it has something to do with trying to edit the levels so that the fruits appear twice...mentioned in this thread... http://atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20975 You'll find copies of the game that do not get hung up like this (looks like Al posted a busted version). If E.D'sstill got the source, I'll help track down the problem. Shouldn't be anything too hard to find (probably as simple as an unconditional branch not being taken correctly). Don't add it just yet, please, this is the first time anyone's seen it and I'd like the opportunity to incorporate suggestions and improvements. You should change the copyright date into 2003. SNARF! Trebor
It's always nice when hackers post their source I'm guessing it has something to do with trying to edit the levels so that the fruits appear twice...mentioned in this thread...http://atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20975 PERFECT! In the post sited above the first versions works just how I wanted it to - No hang-up - no flashes when eating ghost/fruit - no "special" sound effects. The second post "New Start Up Tune" is the buggy one posted at the aforementioned link in my initial post. Although I do like the start up tune better, the orignal version has everything else the way I want it. I'm sticking with the initial posted one Thanks again, Nukey. I appreciate it -Trebor
