The 5200 came later, and it's name was just double the VCS's model number. I guess to keep the VCS from being confused with the 5200, the VCS was renamed 2600. Atari-Jess Posted November 3, 2001 Share Posted November 3, 2001 the man cap'n crunch is alive and well today, and (well at leasts claims to have)wrote the worlds first word processor for the apple computer (i forget what one) but i cant get a contact with him, and i kinda think he doesn't like to talk about it since its kinda the past and its not even possible to do it and he had to goto jail and was practically forced to teach other inmates to phreak as well. its kinda scary his life, but oh so interesting as well.
