shadowdoggie
I have this posted in the 2600 section but someone told me that I should probably post it here. Hope someone can help. The other day I purchased an old six switcher on eBay and was very pleased when I found a Sunnyvale, CA sticker on the bottom of the unit. It was indeed an original with grey power cord and all - even though they had not advertised it as such. Two original joysticks, but both only went to the right (don't know if that can be fixed). The unit was purchased in AS-IS condition, so I wasn't sure if it would work at all. So, when the moment came to flick the switch, I enjoyed about 6 seconds of glee, until the colors started changing, and changing, and changing, like the lights on a high speed carousel. You know what it's like when you get to screen 7 or 8 in Miner 2049er on the 800XL? Your eyes start tear up and the room starts to pulsate from the intense flashing colors in the "Radioactive Waste". Well, it isn't quite that bad.... but it's not something that you would voluntarily want to stare at for an extended period of time. Does anyone know what may be causing this and if there is anything that I can do to fix it?
