sigma
wow, I can buy it now for $99.95, what a bargain
nester
I paid 99 cents for mine and I play it so often that I completely forgot that I had it. Of course it didn't come with a box which apparently raises the value by about 100000%. I had no idea!
video game addict
Nes Black boxes like that, are collected, and Sealed ones often go for way more. $200-$300 easy on some titles Popeye, Stackup, etc for sealed no problem. $50 for Golf seems a bit high. Opened you'd be lucky to get more than $10 for it, but it is one of the more common of the black box games.

Bruce Tomlin
It's not worth fifty goddamn dollars, that's for sure. Apparently that plastic wrapping is worth fifty bucks to someone. It's got 3 bids on it now. And he wants five bucks for shipping, too. Sounds fine to me, if you don't mind the collector community laughing at you for asking that kind of starting bid. I think the real fools are the bidders, and he's doing us all a service by separating them from the money. Of course older Nintendo shrinkies are a bit harder to find that Atari stuff, if only because N did a much better job of controlling the supply and avoiding the crates of shrinkwrapped games being dumped for a dollar each. It takes some serious ambition to collect NES shrinkies. But it's still just a freaking sheet of plastic. On a common game.

MegaManFan
I think nfarj was the seller who pulled the Sentinel I was winning for $1 when he had a BIN originally of $50.
pmpddytim
You know Goodwill has gone ebay! Those bastards! Who can afford $2 nowadays? Actually Goodwill has gone E-bay. I used to work at one and they had an entire crew just to handle e-bay stuff. -Tim
donkeykong1
It could be worth that much if it is the original "black box" Golf game. It has to have the "J" hook that pops out from behind the box. There are at least two versions of the box, maybe a third. There really is no way of knowing for that auction though because of the stock photo. You need pictures of the back of the box.
wrenchien
i'm pretty sure even playing miniature golf in reality these days doesn't cost that much.
