favorite game with a 7 rating or more

I was thinking about getting some very rare games. But I don't wan't to spend 40 Bucks on a crappy game. From what I hear most of these games suck. I only have a couple of 6's but no 7 or greater.

Same here. I suggest "Xenophobe" (my favorite 2600 game). Graphics are good, and it's quite advanced for 2600 game, with many features. Just make sure you're getting the NTSC one, which is a 7. The PAL version is very common (I have a PAL one coming in the mail, I just want the game, I'll worry about the rare one later).

My recommendation is Quest For Quintana Roo (the original Sunrise version is an 8, although the re-released Telegames version is a mere 3; I actually have the Sunrise version). It takes a while to explore all the rooms, and requires some backtracking, but it's a fun little quest game.

Oh, and "Swordquest: Waterworld". You'll pay more than $40, but it's really a pretty good game. And who can forget "Chase the Chuck Wagon"?

Motorodeo, River Patrol, Up n' down, Obelix, and Out of Control are games I find to all be enjoyable but are all really hard to locate. Best of luck

Motorodeo definitely gets my vote here... it rates a 10 (!) for the NTSC version, but I think the PAL version is more common. Marauder is also an awesome game, even though it's only a 6.

Crazy Climber is great. Also Sir Lancelot is a very cool game, It's a sligtly advanced version of Joust.
