Just to clarify, this is a VCSS game, not a VCS game. The VCSS is a simulation program that Khryssun wrote - it's very cool but VCSS games won't run on a real 2600 or 2600 emulator. They're made to look like 2600 games and give a similar gameplay feeling (VCS *Simulator*).

Just in case anyone was confused...

Of course I realize this. I just thought it looked like a cool concept from the screenshots, so it would be a worthwile project to proceed with. It would be fun to play.

I'm using the original VCS 2600 color palette ...no more, no less.

As Alex said, it's a simulator, so I'am trying to be as close as possible to the original.

But you are right, I don't have to worry about the real VCS graphic disadvantages/limitations due to cycle counting...

My game engine passes over this problem

Why is this? Is it because of the other Adventure sequal in development? If so, I still think you should continue -- this looks really cool!

well, yeah it's the reason why.

The others projects are for the real VCS and seems to be more advanced than mine..... but regarding all the encouragements here, I think I'll jump into the code as soon as I'd finished catapult.

all, thanks for your support
