szndrlvy
How can I get MAME32 Plus to work? I've tried downloading several ROMs, which appear to be a jumble of different file names. When I attempt to play a game, it tells me that it's missing all the files that I already have. The directory is correct. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Blackjack
Most likely the directories are not set. Go to the "options" menu at the top left, and click on "directories". Then tell it where all your roms and such are. If that's not the problem go to easy emu. There are GREAT tutorials there. http://www.mameworld.net/easyemu/ Welcome to Mame! Your gonna love it! Osbo
the easy way, create a directory in the roms in mame with the name of the rom. Now, some roms might need the 'original' rom... try downloading a simple game like ms pacman and install it in the roms folder inside mame, do an audit and it will come up in your list... good luck! tha_ninjalo
It sounds like you aren't using WinZip. If the roms you are downloading are just a jumble of file names, then you aren't getting a "ziprom" you are getting "spanned" roms. If you do have WinZip, try zipping the roms you are downloading, then run MAME. Hope this helps.
