Race Drivin' question

I came across an old favorite at an arcade recently: Race Drivin'.

And would like to know of any and all tricks or easter eggs found in this

game.

 

So far, I found many areas where it's possible to pass through

mountains.

 

After climbing the first hill in the Super Stunt track, I drove my car

around the red barn and slowly pushed up against the green mountain.

Turning the steering wheel to the right a little, while keeping the

gas peddle down, often causes the mountain to vanish! (This works

best with Automatic car since it doesn't stall.)

You should be able to travel right through the mountain like it's not

there. Your car will remain at the same level: so up in the air,

you'll see the road markers, cows and the Checkpoint signs found on

the road around the mountain. Once, I made it far enough to get

underneath the Check point sign and gain extra time. But

unfortunately, my "off road" time had run out and I was brought back

to the road near the barn.

 

What other interesting glitches or tricks found in this game?

 

Not interesting but just a note during the Demo Mode:

 

1) push Abort button to read creators info. etc.

Hold down button to pause the scrolling.

Or, hold down Abort button and turn the Key to scroll much faster.

 

2) Turn key to see high scores.

 

Also,

 

After selecting a car, wait about 10 seconds. Before the game begins

you'll appear to zoom in from the air down to the car. Where as if you

select the car and quickly start the game, the zooming in won't

occur.

Near the starting line of the Regular Stunt Track, there's a road on the

left that leads away from the track to a very large black blacken ground

area with tall beige coloured object in the centre.

 

As you approach the area there are 3 roadway signs indicating a

"Dip" in the road. But there aren't any dips at all. Pass the signs, the

ground is black and circles a tall pole-like structure in the centre.

There are also green lines circuling on the black ground.

 

I was told this area was used by the programers to test cars.
