Tempest
http://www.oriole.net/~rworne/auction/5200l.jpg Is this a sweet set-up or what? And what do I see over in the corner? Is that 4 unreleased prototypes??? Oh yeah! Actually alot of this stuff is going to be for trade or for sale, I really just wanted the prototypes and the Wico keypad. I'll have a list of what of this is available after I get it. I was just so excited I won! Tempest BTW, the prototypes apperently came from Dan Kramer himself. Cool huh? frankg
So you're the guy! I was trying to pick up that collection as well. Funny thing is, I intended to keep everything EXCEPT the prototypes and wico stuff (which I figured I could easily resell...hehehe) Let me know if you're serious about getting rid of the rest, Tempest. Tempest
Why does everyone keep saying that? How do you all know what a buttplug looks like? I don't even want to know... Frank, yes I was serious. All I really needed out of that collection was the prototypes, the Wico Keypad, Miner and Star Wars boxes, and a few of the loose games (Mr. Do's Castle, Miner (gold label), Zenji (I have one without a label), and one or two others. The rest is for sale or trade. BTW, does anyone else find that bidder Hahgamemaker suspicious? He just registered that day, only bid on this auction, and bid alot of money. It may be nothing, but "fake bidder" warning bells are going off in my head. Tempest
John
Wish I had a grand to spend on video game stuff when I was in college!!
Tempest
Well I'll admit that's alot more than I wanted to spend, but this was a oncein a life time collection (you don't see 4 unreleased prototypes up for auction everyday). The only reason I went that high was because I knew I could sell off most of the stuff and make some of my money back. I feel your pain though, when I was in college I passed up on a ton of really great deals because I had absolutely no money. I can remember a Spitfire prototype going for $120 and I had to pass, and then there was that Stronghold and Cakewalk carts that went for $100. Aaaarrrgggghhhh!!!! Of course this was back when ebay was new so you could still get really great deals, and newsgroup auctions were still being done (I got so many great bargins that way). Tizoc
Congats on your win! I was watching it see how high it would go, then I saw your ID as the winning bidder. Hehehe, I thought you might be bidding on this one. BTW, when you get your For Sale/Trade list all squared away be sure to let us know. I have a few 7800 items that I know you need, and you most certainly have extras of some 5200 I need.
