www.atarimania.com
Hello, As you may know, Atarimania's goal is to properly archive ALL A8 gameware before it is too late. We'd like to involve more people in preserving rare games before a big part of Atari history disappears. While all other big platforms have on-going projects of this kind, we believe the Atari community is a bit trailing behind in this respect. Lots of rare games have been unearthed already but we're still missing a lot. What follows is a very big list of the main titles that need to be dumped. Everything is sorted by publisher. If you have some of these programs on your old floppy disks or tapes, please get in touch Acorn Software Everest Explorer Formula 1 (Sid Meier's first commercial game!) www.atarimania.com
What was Spinnakers Xmas sampler - is that the one with the Nutcracker and Mouse dance thingy? From a dealer ad: Great holiday package that brings the classics "to life" with full color graphics and sound, interspersed with animation. Stories are told, plus a selection of Christmas carols, accompanied by screen texts that are asy to follow. Christmas music is the third ingredient - perfect for family gatherings. If this is what you have, please send us a disk image so it can be archived Ultima III construction set - interesting..................what did this do? No idea... Maybe it lets you alter some of the settings? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

Tempest
I had an Ultima III construction set for the Apple (a pirate version). Basically it allowed you to place any tile anywhere, so you could build your own levels. Very neat stuff. Tempest

www.atarimania.com
Hello, I have a extensive collection of other people's collections that I have put together. I think I will explore these disks at last and see what they are. Expecially since I have a Indus drive working at last as well. Doctorclu, that would be fantastic. Please get in touch if you manage to build up a full list of what's on these disks Jumpman (early version) Needs further confirmation but I have seen this one on a collector's disk list. The game's precise reference is Jumpman #1 by Randy Glover and is a file (not the usual single-sided disk you find for this game). The collector also has Jumpman as the regular Epyx version so there may actually be a beta available as well... -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

www.atarimania.com
Might also just be Jumpman Jr. I doubt it. Jumpman Junior has two separate entries on this list and the publisher is marked as "Epyx", not "R. Glover". The listing I have is very precise and there's probably a reason why we have Jumpman #1 as the name of the game and "R. Glover" as publisher. -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

Cybergoth
Hi there! Manuel, good point but while Jumpman Junior is on the Preview Disk, Jumpman isn't Hm... then you have to ask that collector who wrote the list himself BTW: You're missing the Summer Games Cartridge on your page. Cybergoth
Hi there! You're right, we scanned the box but not the cart... Ah no, I meant the binary. You only have the disk version for download, no dump of the cartridge ROM. Anyway, let's see if I can put my hands on that Jumpman #1, it would be a great find I'd love to see that. I could quickly identify any differences to the regular version in case. Greetings, Manuel
