neotokeo2001
Would it be possible to expand Demon Attack to 8k?? Title Screen Missing Mother Base Screen Scrolling levels Starfield Just throwing some things out there.
bjk7382
That looks pretty cool, even though it wasn't in Imagic's style to have large blocky objects on the screen. It would be nice to see an new/improved DA though

Big Player
Would a mothership like that work on the 2600? It looks like a reflected playfield. (Or is mirrored the proper word?) Could it be less blockly if you didn't have demons fly on the same scanlines? Maybe use the sprites to round out the playfield? I agree it would be great to see any enhancements to Demon Attack. neotokeo2001
I don't have any idea what is possible. The Screenshot was just a MS Paint Mock-Up. Demon Attack is my Favorite Atari Game. I could hack the Mother Ship into Demons!(Pheonix Hack), but it's just not the same.
Feralstorm
Interesting thought, though it would be cool if a different approach could be taken for a 'mothership level' that is less of a Phoenix ripoff. I'm at a loss to say what would be a better idea though... How about 8K Wizard of Wor? More mazes, different graphics for blue and orange monsters, and ... stuff. NE146
I don't like the idea of a mothership... since that just lends itself more to the bogus comparison between 2600 Demon Attack and Phoenix. However.. of course the Intellivision version had one so what can ya do *shrug*
Cybergoth
Hi there! Hm... Demon Attack is one of the few rare gmes that seem to be perfect just "as is". Also the Intellivision mothership version plays so amazingly crappy, that it's probably better not to borrow *anything* from it... Greetings, Manuel
Vic George 2K3
The version of Demon Attack I played on a TRS-80 Color Computer in a Radio Shack store years ago seemed to be like the Atari 2600's and the Intellivision's mixed together -- probably the best version I ever played.
