ATARIPITBULL
I don't know much about the 7800 system but can it play any of the 2600 or 5200 games with an adaptor?.
Lemmi
There is no need for a adaptor on the 7800 to play 2600 games (one slot plays both 7800/2600)and i dont think there was an adaptor to play 5200 games on the 7800
ATARIPITBULL
O.K then the 7800 can also play 2600 carts. Thanks for the info, I did not know this.

kyle
That is why the 7800 kicks so much ass it plays 7800 and 2600 games!! I dont even keep a 2600 hooked up wahts the point? I have two 2600's but no need to have em hooked up when my 7800 does the job!
bradjewell
unfortunately my 7800 is just sitting there right now beacause I need a power supply. Brad
zanza
Wolfgang if you need a power supply, you can use an Odyssey 2 which has the same output socket as the 7800. The only drawback is that you must open it and cross the output cable as voltage is inversed, but it 's easy to do. And locating a DC supply for Odyssey2 should be easier than one for a 7800 probably. I have already posted concerning this topic under 7800 message board
kyle
Wolfgang if ya need a 7800 power supply try best electronics . They have them for $15 they do have a $20 minimum to orders thoe so you will have to get a 2600 game or something for $5 bucks. I cant think of the website addy maybe someone else will post it for you their phone # is 408-278-1070 call between 4 and 7 pm eastern as their hours are from 1pm to 4:30 Pacific as far as someone being at the phone that is. bradjewell
I/m going to make an adapter using a 9vdc 1 amp with a different plug on it. It's a lot cheaper than a 15 dollar power supply. I haven't seen anything cheaper out there for it. Thanks for all the help though guys. Brad
