King Atari
I can't tell you how much time me and my brother had spent shooting at each other on that game, it's one of my favorite early games. Okay, the graphics are big and blocky, but that's part of the fun, nothing complicated. "Gunfight" is also a good variation of this, plus it has great music (adding in "Ring of Fire", that was a stroke of genius).
ubersaurus
Outlaw is one of my favorite 2 player games! It's awesome in its simplicity.
Atari-Jess
I found my copy of outlaw in my local thrift store, i bought it and played, once i right then found i was 2 player i went and grabbed my bro (who hates atari btw) and we played, he got really bored since he thought it was only 1 screen (at the time so did i) only to find when i sometimes like to press select a million times i found the other games and played "shoot the cactus" about 40 times. StanJr
As a kid, Outlaw couldn't compete with games like Haunted House or Defender or Yar's Revenge, so I didn't really like it that much. Being an only child didn't help. But I plan on picking up a copy of Outlaw the next time I see one to give it another try. Now I have a girlfriend I can shoot at (with the game, of course) Bandito Stan
ATARIPITBULL
It was alright. Not one of the top ten games I would play all the time, but it was still fun.
Adrian M
Outlaw is simple and fun. The mark of a truly great game.
King Atari
That reminds me, if anyone has a spare picture label copy with both labels in good condition and they want to get rid of it, let me know. I have 2 text copies, and both are missing end labels.

Both Outlaw and Maze Craze are GREAT 2-player games!
liveinabin
I honestly haven't played it yet, I must do. 2 player games are what the 2600 really excells at. isn't it just a gunfight clone?

yellowdragon
I always liked that you could stand on the other cowboy and hammer the fire button and kill your opponent repeatedly, and win quickly. Seems when playing my brother one of us always won this way. Yellowdragon
paulvonscott
One Player it sucks. Two player is great as long as you have it on Getaway. Otherwise me and my brother played endless games where both our gunslingers died at the same time. Maze Craze IS a great game too.
