What was the most talked about game in 2001

Without a doubt its E.T., I thik it will always be. Think about it, Theres a landfill with TONS of them and there are lost initials. Thats alot to talk about!!

Agreed... E.T. just has too much history behind it to not be discussed, and Elevator Action was probably the biggest release this year. However, Pac-Man got a lot of talk too (for similar reasons as E.T.).

 

I'm actually quite surprised Ewok Adventure didn't get more attention... I thought people were looking forward to this one.

 

And I'd have to predict that, when/if released, Lord Of The Rings (the game, not the movie) will generate even more discussion than Elevator Action... though maybe not as much as E.T.

Of the new games, Qb was talked about a lot. Also, recently, Raiders of the Lost Ark had a huge discussion (although the E.T. one was bigger.)
