intvgene
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to put an Atari ST SC1224 monitor in a cabinet. The vertical hold won't stay, and the game periodically starts to roll. I did a search on the newsgroups, but the links that they pointed to were long expired. Any help would be appreciated. +Mitch
Which model SC1224 are you using, there are three of them? Mitch
intvgene
Sorry.. it's a Goldstar.
+Mitch
The Goldstar requires seperate H and V sync, unless the board you have provides that you will have problems. You should be able to use an LM1881 chip to split the sync though. Mitch
intvgene
Yea, it does have the separate sync. My board does not. Do you know where I could get one of those Lm 1881 chips? Thanks for the help.
+Mitch
Probably you can request a sample of the LM1881N. http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM1881.html Mitch
+Mitch
Here's an example circuit that might help as well. http://www.gamesx.com/grafx/psx2sc1224.jpg Mitch
intvgene
Ok, thanks for the help. I have a friend who can probably help me assemble this. Thanks again.
