Aaron
:!: I ran Fall Down (fd_ntsc.bin) on my AtariVox last night and it locked up! When I started the game it showed only a black screen - and then, when I unplugged the AVox (while it was stuck on a blank screen), it broke out of the loop and ran normally. Richard H wrote that my cable (to the AVox) is probably too long or there is too much interference, so I am guessing that when fd_ntsc.bin tried to access the AVox it got stuck in a closed loop. 870527 Yeah, when the game detects the AtariVox it checks for a signature word. If it's not there, it writes it in, wipes the high scores, and checks again. So I imagine it never manages to write correctly on your machine. This is similar to what happens in Z26... Should I be worried about this? Did you ever get your game to work?

Having your game stuck in an endless loop is never good, no matter the cause.
Cybergoth
Hi there! Maybe it should just give up after a couple of tries with negative result? Greetings, Manuel

I just don't feel like taking the time to work on it... Maybe it should just give up after a couple of tries with negative result? 871291 That probably is the best way to go... will have a fixed version in a bit. Aaron
Ok...... I put in a failure counter, which also nicely takes care of the Z26 problems. I really should have done this earlier. Thanks guys. So yeah... I really hope this is the last version. fd_really_final.zip

The mixed red/blue carts are sweet!
