Jess Ragan
Now's a good time to start that 2600 version of Mortal Kombat. I'm sure it'd be better than the Game Boy Advance version. In EVERY respect. JR
slapdash
Actually, I wanted to do MK on the Odyssey2... :-)
ubersaurus
why stop there? do it on Channel F #$#@^#^!
slapdash
The original joke/idea was to do it on the O2 by using the Computer Intro cart... Not like a real attempt at the game. Of course, I had also thought it would be fun to make a "Street Fighter" game for 2600 by hacking Karate.
Ze_ro
Try getting the original Odyssey to play Mortal Kombat (Or Street Fighter... I doubt it would matter much what you called it, since you wouldn't be able to tell the difference). Now that would be impressive --Zero
ubersaurus
Someone should do Street Fighter 1 for 7800. I think that's one of the few games of the genre that could be done in a pre 1990 system.
Ze_ro
In fact, SF1 was done on pre-90's systems... there's actually two different Commodore 64 versions out there. The 7800 is definitely capable of it. Of course, before releasing it, you'd have to pop in your "Avoid The Lawyers" cartridge and beat the game first... --Zero
