Scott Stilphen
The maximum is 180! (18 rows of 10 each). Once you get this, all subsequent intermission screens are the same (never resets).

At some point, Epyx bought out Starpath (or somehow got the rights to their games, I'm a little unclear on what happened there), and then eventually Atari bought out Epyx. So, at this point, Atari decided to try adapting some of Starpath's games for cartridges instead of cassettes. Rabbit Transit is the only one I know of that has actually been dumped, though there may be others floating around. As for why Atari never released them, I would guess that the crash hit, and they pulled the plug. It was already pretty late before Atari acquired Epyx. --Zero
slapdash
Haha! Was that hard work or a hack Scott?
Scott Stilphen
I admit, I hacked it to get that far. Although I think the highest I got "straight up" was around 12 rows. The first scene gives me more trouble than the "ledge" one, so I erased all the enemies . The second screen is easy. Just work it so that you have the guy drop the "diamond" thing down the center of the screen.

slapdash
Yeah, I know that technique well... You get crazy kamikaze with that damned diamond to give yourself enough time to change all three before the farmer gets back; you learn to jump opposite of the direction he'll be coming from to shave off even more time for yourself. Oh yeah. Hmm, I don't think I ever wrote down the most bunnies I ever got. Of course, in the heat of a game, we'd often skip that scene anyway... Then when you died, it was too late to see how you'd done.
cschell
So, is this limit on the Supercharger version, the cart version, or both? Chad
Scott Stilphen
This was on the Atari version, though I'd guess the Starpath version isn't any different (there isn't any room to add more...)
