jchiar
Hi Does anyone know if the STELLA ADAPTOR work on this port on the xbox? I am trying to get an emulator on the xbox for the atari 2600 and use PADDLES!!
NE146
Doesn't the Stella Adapter use a USB connector? Unless there is a USB interface for controllers for the xbox I kind of doubt it. But then again I don't know 100% as I don't have the stella adapter. It would definitely be interesting if there was a way to make it work though... as Z26 on the Xbox is definitely one of the best ways to play emulated 2600 games imho. jeepnut24
The XBOX controllers use USB with a proprietary plug on the end. You can buy USB adapters that plug right in. I would assume that if you had the right Linux drivers for the Stelladapter and the USB adapter things should work just find. If you search around a bit you can find the USB adapters or the tutorials to make you own. It very easy. Many even put a normal USB port in the back of their XBOX. jchiar
i have those adapters. The z26 port i have is an XBE so its not running in linux. I was thinking that the Z26 xbe would have to provide the support for the devices. If anyone have the stella adapter and moded box (hope i can say that here) let me know. I can give you the binaries to test.
