awsomo3000
Yesterday while browsing my local video game store i noticed a game titled activion classics. It had 30 of the most popular activision games that came out for the 2600.Now it has some great games ,pitfall plaque attack keystone kapers to name a few.But everytime i played a game i found myself badly wanting the "real" version.I felt like a whore. Now that i have this crap getting the real version would be practicly poinless.Ive decided that im never going to play this game again and pretend like i dont even have it. To my fellow collectors, how do you feel about the "anthology" or collection games?insight would be apriciated.
Recycled
Well, I like anthologies in general. I got the Activision Anthology for PS2 and loved it so much I had to get a 2600 (you really need paddles to play Kaboom!). AND now THAT led to the Colecovision that I just bought today. Again, it boils down to how much we want to spend.

Recycled
Well, I obtained a box of (mostly) boxed 2600 games from some woman I dated briefly. Outside of Pac-Man and E.T. I got a few good ones like Kaboom! I couldn't believe how much better I was able to do with the paddles as opposed to the playstation thumb screw. I think that one is worth having because of that. Many of the others transfer well and I do fine with them on the Anthology but still would like to be able to play them on the vcs.
