Atari Rescue Group
In a thrift yesterday I happened upon a old Odyssey sitting in the styrofoam with its two controllers. Only half the box was with it--the top half where the thing was sitting in. the $4.99 price was reasonable I thought until I got to the cash register where they took 50% off... Didn't inspect it until I got back home tonight. Much of the peripheral stuff was in the box, but missing the game cord, switchbox, all except one of the football playing cards and the sticker sheet looks like it was used on the sceeen overlays. The dice look brand spanking new! Manual has the red color on it. Console and controllers look like they've barely been used. The box top has a silver 3" wide sticker across the top left portion. It says: MAGNAVOX "Creative ideas in electronics" and shows a printed seal claiming "Refund or Replacement Guaranteed to Consumer By Parents' Magazine". I looked at the pong-story website and the photos there didn't show the sticker. Anyone seen it before?
