PuddWakkr Posted March 15, 2005 Share Posted March 15, 2005 I'm a big fan of the Vagrant Story and Parasite Eve games on the PSX. Is there anything like this for the PS2? I thought the gameplay blew away all the other square rpg's but they stopped using that kind of engine. If not what are some good turn based RPG's available for the PS2. +-^CrossBow^- Posted March 15, 2005 Share Posted March 15, 2005 While I haven't played either of the two games you listed (don't own any PSX games really..), I have been having a blast with Xenosaga. I just picked this up used on the ole 'bay for like $5 and it has been great! I am easily liking it way more than FFX which I just can't seem to pick myself back up and play more of. I usually like games like the action RPG genre also, but yeah, Baldur's Gate is missing something, but I can't quite place what.
