DominiRican05
I've been on this forum for a while and in the meantime I've been testing out various Atari games using Stella but since they're so many games, I'm having a hard time sifting the good stuff from the crap. So could anyone give me a list of the hottest Atari games that every true fan must play? Thanks. :-)

DominiRican05
Thanks! Thist list should keep me playing for hours! My faves so far are the Activision ones, Enduro and River Raid. I like the others as well, but there's something about Activision titles that always grab me, just like Pitfall and Pitfall II were my 2 fave 2600 games growing up. +Nathan Strum
I'll also throw in a vote for Midnight Magic. Excellent game. Homebrew-wise, you can't go wrong with StarFire or Seawolf.
DominiRican05
Thanks! I was about to ask about the homebrews too...I'll check those out. Two homebrews I've really enjoyed are Space Treat and Climber 5.

TheHoboInYourRoom
You should, from my experience, have: Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Pitfall II Berzerk Midnight Magic Night Driver Frogs and Flies Reactor (I don't see why not) Solaris Maze Craze Dragonfire Air Raiders And the obligatory 5 copies of Combat, but you already knew that. Still lookin' for a 6th, though... Oh yeah, and any Text # cart you can find (Why oh why didn't I get that 41 Surround?)

Gregory DG
Whenever this topic pops up I always say Bowling. That's a fun game. I also check TAT's 2600 reviews, although take any scores where the number of reviewers are less than 5 with a grain of salt. Then there's the Top 20 Atari Games of All-Time. No surprise what games make that list. Edited April 15, 2005 by Gregory DG

Atarifever
Q-Bert and Jungle Hunt. Of course, I have a soft spot for thesebecause they're the only one's I ever bought new (well, still in the boxes at a department store anyway). Still, I think they're awesome.
