Help with Hack in cart form. Urgent

Cyplix is in it eprom testing phase now. I wwas told that it rolls on one T.V., is stable on another but is showing up in black and white(the game is in color).

The hack is of Bi! Bi! from Taiwan(made for the Australian market and is PAL), which is a hack of Sea Hunt(made for North America in NTSC) format.

So my question is: Since Cyplix is a hack of Bi! Bi!, is it in PAL format?

Is there any way to convert it to work properly(no screenroll with color) in NTSC fomat?

Why is it showing up black and white?

Any advice is really needed.

Thanks!

Charles

I was able to reduce Bi! Bi! to 292 scanlines. It will run on more TV's than the original, but it still has a greater scanline count than the standard 262 for NTSC. It will still roll on some TV's. For a point of reference, Air Raid runs 290 scanlines.

I will look at this as a posisble solution.

What I am going to do regardless is this:

Since Cyplix was original done as a Pal cart, then the pre-release carts(4 of them plus prototype) will stay in PAL format.

The Cyplix official release will be in NTSC format(four will be made intially). I will either work with what Zach has provided or find my own way of doing it.
