Paddle Control Conversion?

How difficult would it be to convert the paddle control of Demons to Diamonds into Joystick control?? I have no idea how to do it with Hack-O-Matic, Or even if it is possible.

In Hack-O-Matic, eh, I dunno. With source, it would probably be pretty stinking easy to go from paddles to joystick control, since reading paddles is tricky, but reading joysticks is cake.

Thanks. The speed seems good to me. I did notice one problem. If you push against the

left or right boundary your ship will race to the other side of the screen. If you push against the left wall you will race to the right and then move again to the left. If you can fix it fine, If not, It is a small price to pay for joystick control.
