Uncle Duke
I think Mystery Science Atari 2600, would work fine! Thanks for the help, I didnt really know what I should call it, because MST2600 was taken so I was just using MST2600: The Series for a sort of "pre-production" name anyway. But as a bit of bad news, the programmer guy I know, The Len, cant do it, he said he is also too busy at the time being. So any programmers out there, please take some consideration. King Atari
That title would be cool. For each cart, you could also have the subtitle "Volume #1", "Volume #2", and so on. If you find someone to program this, I'd suggest using "Karate", "ET", or "Custer's Revenge" for the first cart, but you could use anything you want, those are just what I figure would be good riffing material. Uncle Duke
Yeah, that would all be perfect. If you know any programmers that would be willing to help us out, try to get in touch with them if you can. I dont think these posts have been getting much reading. (from everyone but us) The only trouble is, finding a programmer who is not busy making theyre own games. But Im sure there is bound to be one who is interested enough in the idea it will soon become one of his (and our) new game. Also, when we pick games, (if we ever get far enough with the project) we should pick ones with long play ability as well as a just plain bad game. Like E.T. would be perfect, and I think Custers Revenge would be too, I have never played Karate yet, but I will today, just to see what its like. King Atari
Karate doesn't have much playability, since it's pretty impossible to hit the other fighter, so maybe that's not a very good choice. Besides, it might be harder to riff on it, but "ET" & "Custer's..." would be great.
King Atari
Hey! I had an idea! Why don't you hack the actual games a little, so it's more riffing-friendly?
