Rob Mitchell Posted April 24, 2005 Share Posted April 24, 2005 I received a "broken" 7800 console recently. Looking it over .. the bottom of the case is broken in multiple pieces. Little parts of the air grills are missing. On the front .. one of the pins is missing from the ports. So I got to work: Opened up the console .. the top half is intact. The bottom is falling apart. I tested the circuit .. I got an OK picture on both channels. So I did the power socket mod .. then I replaced the two front ports (plastic around the DB9 ports is cheap and broken). My replacements are both of better quality! And then I did the AV mod which I received from 8-Bit Domain. But now I need a new bottom half. Does anyone have a bottom half in good shape?
