+Random Terrain
I didn't expect to see their spiders listed in here like members. I also thought you blocked search engines in the forums, so I was even more surprised than usual. Very strange and cool to see. I wonder what else will show up? Albert
This is normal--there are already a few other threads where people have pointed this out. Only the more popular search engines will be listed, but I've seen Google, Wisenut, Yahoo (Inktomi), MSN.com, Archive.org, and a few others. Not unusual to see several active at the same time. In the old forum, yes, we had spiders blocked. But the new forum can handle them much better (that is, without slowing the board down!), so I opened up the forum to spiders again. Since there is a wealth of video game knowledge stored in the posts here, it's nice that Google searches will now locate posts in this forum. However, the Off-Topic and Introductions forums are off-limits to the search engine spiders, since they browse the board as a guest, and you need to be logged in in order to see those forums. ..Al
+Random Terrain
Thanks. I usually like to search the guts of web sites and message boards using Google instead of using local search tools anyway, so that's nice to know.
