+DZ-Jay
Limitations of the TIA. I think the flat notes aren't a problem with a POKEY available. Gotcha! Still, the music is very reminiscent of the arcade, if a bit off-putting at times. Very impressive.
Schmutzpuppe
Due to the TIA limitations I wanted to make the game POKEY only at first. But after implementing TIA support I was quite satisfied with the result, it turned out that I it sounded better than expected. Also the limitation of two channels wasn't as bad as I thought it would. However pokey is better of course. You can hear it in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cnmji8JGA2Q Gotcha! Still, the music is very reminiscent of the arcade, if a bit off-putting at times. Very impressive. Gotcha! Defender_2600
Portland Retro Gaming Expo - PRGE 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE0tsyyOX3s This port is very impressive, is really difficult to distinguish it from the arcade version.I do not know how it is possible simultaneously display all these colors using 320 mode. Incredible work. Thank you Schmutzpuppe!

Shannon
Finally got around to playing the latest version today and have to say that I'm very impressed! Only thing I miss is the sound of the cars from the arcade. However I don't think even the atari computer versions had that either.
VectorGamer
Wow this thread was started over 10 years ago. Just scanning the last page here it was demoed at PRGE 2 years ago. What's the future for this game? Is it complete? Will it be put on cart? Is the latest version in the OP?

Jinks
Probably non pokey. The ribbit frog sound on the title screen is the best.
Stun Runner 87
Awsome. Can't wait to see this in Store. Edited October 29, 2015 by Stun Runner
iesposta
This is one game I haven't played with Pokey sound. My test cart corrupts because the game run in a non-ROM cart changes a location after level 1.
Jaynz
Bumping a little just to check in and see if this was still hitting the AA Store soon? (Was just about to order a custom cart...)
Dauber
I've been dying for this thing for years! Can't wait to be able to play it -- one way or another (either cart or Concerto) -- on my 7800!
Albert
Bumping a little just to check in and see if this was still hitting the AA Store soon? (Was just about to order a custom cart...) Yes, still working on it. We just need to finalize a label and put together a manual. Then I can offer the game for sale. ..Al
Andromeda Stardust
Holy sweets! Sign me up... As an aside, I haven't been through the 18 pages of backlog. A "Cliffnotes" version would be nice.
funknflow5200
does anyone have an .a78 of this?
iesposta
does anyone have an .a78 of this? Seconded. The last posted version in post 380 is a .bin Can't you just Hex Edit a header from an .A78 file? How many bytes is the header? I've made .bin files by stripping the header from an .A78, not the other way around. Edit: Answering my own question: 127 bytes Edited January 31, 2016 by iesposta
RevEng
128 bytes. You can also grab the 7800header utility from a current version of 7800basic or the 7800DevKit, which allows you to add a header to a binary, or modify one on an a78 file. It's command-line, but menu driven. Pretty easy to use.

Brian R.
This will be an immediate buy once available. And Al, if you'd like any help with copy editing/proofing the manual, let me know. I'd be happy to help.
