Nateo Posted February 13, 2002 Share Posted February 13, 2002 Boxing is my favorite sport (in fact, I'm going to join a team sometime soon), and man, this game is awsome! The ability to block, shots to the head and abdomen with only one button is amazing! The fighters are fast and the animation (well, the running anyway) is incredibly smooth. The graphics are nothing less than superb. This game was way better than any boxing games that came out before it (i.e. Rocky SA Boxing, Activision Boxing, Intellivision Boxing, etc.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you find that amazing you really should try Way Of The Exploding Fist on the C64 and other 8-bit computers. That allows 16 moves (including walk left, right, jump, duck so 12 moves really) with 1 button and its a fantastic game too RS Boxing however hold the tilte of my favourite two player game on the VCS. It´s quite a rush punching your opponents head and it looks incredibly funny how he lies down when you knocked him out... Oh Boy did we laugh when we saw this for the first time.... Activision Boxing is nothing Special, but they did 2 quite good Boxing Games on the C64 - Star Rank Boxing 1+2! Does anyone remember them?!
